What happened
On November 9, 2019, at approximately 18:37 local time, an Airbus A320-233, registration LV-BRY, was performing a scheduled commercial domestic flight from Aeroparque Jorge Newbery in Buenos Aires to Iguazú International Airport. While the aircraft was maintaining a cruising altitude of FL 370, it entered an area characterized by moderate turbulence and heavy rainfall.
Despite the atmospheric instability, the flight crew managed the situation effectively. The aircraft continued its route and completed a safe landing at Iguazú International Airport without any reported risk to the flight's safety or the 150 occupants on board.
The investigation
