What happened
On September 26, 2024, at approximately 01:00 UTC, an Airbus A320, registration LV-HVT, was performing a scheduled commercial flight (Flight 3186) from Neuquén's Juan Domingo Perón International Airport to Buenos Aires' Jorge Newbery Airport. During the takeoff phase of the operation, the aircraft encountered a bird strike. Following the impact, the flight crew initiated an interrupted takeoff procedure. The aircraft was able to return to the apron without further incident, and the flight was subsequently canceled.
The investigation
