Introduction

The incident occurred on a scheduled commercial passenger flight from Ushuaia to Ezeiza (flight AR1881).

Incident Description
During the taxi phase prior to takeoff, the aircraft veered off the paved surface, resulting in a runway excursion. The incident took place at local time 23:02 UTC. The airport elevation is 96 feet above mean sea level. The exact coordinates of the excursion were 54° 50′ 40″ S, 68° 19′ 03″ W.
Damage and Injuries

Investigation
The national aviation authority, Junta de Seguridad en el Transporte (JST), initiated a technical investigation. After analysis, the Director Nacional decided to discontinue the investigation and archive the case, concluding that the lessons to be obtained were not impactful for improving operational safety. No probable cause was determined or stated.
